i have a 120 evinrude it is a 91. and it will run good but i shut down to fish and try to take off again it will not get up and go. it is like it is bogged down and it will eventually catch up and go. i was trying to find out what the ohm reading is on my stator so i can check it. my trigger is reading around 45 ohms. and the stator is reading 96 ohms. is that the right reading.

Go to cdielectronics.com for trouble shooting procedures.

As boobie indicated, that website has some great troubleshooting info. I test my stators based on output voltage when cranking. You'll need a special "peak-reading" voltmeter.

Emds, we both know that is the proper way to do it. I've got two of them but how many posters have them or want to buy them ?????

I would check your float heights. And just go through and clean them out
