How to clean a FWC heat exchanger

Anybody know how to clean the tubes (raw water) in a FWC heat exhanger, I removed the end plates and found alot of crud (salt crystals?) in the end of the unit.

Ayuh,.......

Remove the Heat Exchanger,+ Bring it to a Radiator Shop,+ Have Them boil it out,+ Rod it..........

Thanks for the input, I'll take the exchanger to the radiator shop as you guys suggested when I lay it up this winter, anything I can do till then (like run a wire or rod thru the holes in the exchanger)

Wire brush it out as best as you can....
As long as you are not overheating there is no harm being done......JK
