Hello brim buster,
Thank you for your response to my post. The information you sent is for a single cylinder ESKA up to 7.5 HP with a solid state stator and ignition points. I do have this section of the ESKA manual. In addition, I also have the part of the manual pertaining to my issue, model 1925A, a twin cylinder, 9.5 HP with a solid state stator and no ignition points used. The manual calls for different special tools for each situation and I do have the necessary tools for my application, parts # 670243, # 670244 ( see pages 20 and 21 of the ESKA Mechanics Service Manual ) . It appears the timing etc. on the single cylinder is even more involved then my issue. I have come to the conclusion I must revisit the instructions and go slowly through each step and hope I have done it correctly before starting the outboard up.
I would appreciate any other thoughts you may have.
Thank you.
Just Bill
