how to determine value on used Yamaha outboard?

I am looking at a 1994 yamaha 8hp tiller long shaft outboard that seems to be in very good condition and not used hard, starts, runs well - how can I figure out what is a fair cash price to pay the seller for this engine? Need some help on this one. THanks!

remember this is the value a bank loan would be based on, actual value is market dependant.

yes I went to that site, it said the motor was retail value 1300-1400 dollars which I thought was too high for a 16 yr old 8hp motor. Was trying to get a more realistic market price that is fair for this motor - I also googled '94 yamaha 8hp for sale in hopes of seeing some asking prices but struck out on that search... anyone that knows what it would be worth (fair price) please let me know.

you did something wrong.
I just did it and got 220 to 245.
that was for a 8mshs.
