How to do an Oil Change on a Mercuriser 260?

I bought the Mercrusier SELOC book and it doesn't tell you how.

I'm not really sure where the drain plug is and how to access it.

Any DYI 'ers here know? I found the fuel and oil filter and replacing that is not a problem. Have already topped the oil off and it's time for a change but can't fidn the drain.

Hello, I think you've posted in the wrong forum.

If it's an I/O you buy a special pump to suck it out the dipstick hole.

Also the Seloc manuals are junk.

The manual for your boat might be available in the Mercruiser forum.
