How to find right prop for Merc 7.5?

I have a Merc 7.5 with a "spun hub". First, would it be cheaper to buy a new prop than to get the hub repaired? If so, how do I know what to look for in shopping for a new prop? If not, does anyone know of a good hub repair shop that I can mail my prop to and the approximate cost for repair?

You might do a search on the top of this page for prop work or just prop, there are hundreds of topics to search. You might have better luck.

I would ask at a local boat dealer for info on a local prop shop for the repair. Who does the dealer use, etc.
