I wold like to know what kind and the pitch of a prop it came off my 1973 850 mercury. It is a stainless steel and has no name on it just numbers on side.

No numbers on the hub under the prop nut? 0-344 seems like an old Michigan number.
Your best bet is to take it to a prop shop.They can size it and may be able to itentify the design.
