How To Make Livewell On Boat? Any Suggestions

guys im thinking of removing my big old plastic gas tank and putting a livewell in its place. The tank as of now is right under my seat pedestals. Almost in the middle of the boat. I need the extra well room for those biguns i catch sometime. could this work? if so what could i build livewell out of. The boat is a wellcraft cc 18 footer. right now all its got is those little fish boxes up front which really arent good for anything but vest and stuff. what you guys think.

First though is how are you going to get fish in the well if your seat is on top of it?

2nd, where are you going to move the gas too?

Would this involve cutting into the deck cause that could go wrong a hundred different ways and you would need to get under the deck to hook up the plumbing, you have to do that from the back side of the well.

Without pics it is hard to say but it almost sounds like you will have to reengineer the entire boat.
