Does anyone have or know where a how-to is on replacing the water impeller? I have a 1974 Johnson 25hp Thanks

don't forget to disconnect the shifter at the top.

shift disconnect is under a 1"x3" plate on the side of the leg, 2 screws. under the plate you will find a linkage coupler, remove bottom screw. now remove the 6 bolts holding the lower unit. it should drop out. install impeller, do not loose the pin or key. when reassembling, the coupler screw must go thur the indent in the shift rod.
