How to raise WOT RPM on a Yamaha 200 TXRR ('93)

Hi everybody, I recently got this boat, I cleaned the carbs and adjusted the timing, it was 4 ATDC and I changed to 6 ATDC per OEM service manual, WOT RPM before adjusting the timing was 5200 now it wont go over 5000 RPM, I also adjusted the throttle opening from the remote like the manual says but I still can't go over 5000 RPM at WOT, is there any other adjustmen that can be done to raise the WOT RPM, thanks in advance for you answer

You adjusted either the pickup timing or the idle timing. The timing should be around 20 degrees Before Top Dead Center (get the specifications from your manual). I would verify spark on every cylinder first. Start with the basics...

yeah..I adjusted the carburetor pick up timing as per OEM service manual wich is 6 degrees ATDC, I haven't adjusted the ignition timing yet, the book calls for a BTDC 22 degrees +/- 1, I'll do that and post results, thanks for your quick reply.
