Think the bearing in my Raw Water Pump is on it's last legs. Not to surpised as there has been some leakage from around the pump housing area and I'm hearing some bearing growl that isn't coming from the power steering pump, circulation pump or alternator. My question is how do you take it off? I have changed my impeller many times so no problem there but what type of screws/bolts hold the pump pully/aft section in? It's very difficult to see on my boat and I would have to do this job by feel. It;s a 2002 Volvo GL-B with a 2 belt pully. Thanks.

Might be a GL-B, but is it a 3.0L or a 5.7L or something in between?

Thanks Don for the quick reply. It's a 5.0. With mirror and flashlight I can see that they are allen head screws. Looks to be 3 of them. I plan on replacing the whole pump aasembly so it doesn't look to bad if those screws come out easily. Don't have much room to work.

Yes, 3 bolts. Takes a 5/16" allen wrench.
