How to remove starter from Mercruiser 140/3.0L

Hello

I have a Mercruiser 140/3.0L 181ci and need to replace the starter. I believe the schematic in this thread http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=341143&page=1 is the one I have.

I cannot, however, figure out how to get it off. I've found (and removed) bolt #4 but I'm not sure where #3 is - I'm pretty sure those are the ones to remove - and the support bracket (#5).

So, feeling and looking with a mirror, under the engine I can see/feel a bolt which has an unusual head about 1" long. Would that be it? I hate to just start removing stuff especially when it's very inaccessible.

Thanks for the confirmation. Got it out and fitted a new one. Seems to have done the trick
