How to remove stator on 1983 115?

I just ordered a manual today but since it won't be here for a while I need some assistance. I can easily see the stator but I am not sure exactly what I need to do to get it off. There are eight bolts around the perimeter of the flywheel cover and then around the main shaft there are eight more bolts I think. Do I just remove all of these and pull the flywheel and stator out? It is the inline 6 btw.

Get the proper flywheel puller remove the center nut and pull the flywheel in one piece as it was designed to come off, remove the wires from the switch boxes and the 4 allen head screws and you've got it
