How to remove water pump adapter housing

How the hell do I remove the water pump adapter housing?! I tried the vise grips but that thing hase been in there to 20 years. Any tips?

Figured it out. Pulled the input shaft assembly and used a socket with and impact extension and hammered it out from the other side.
