My boat's gunwales are weak. The wood inside the gunwale got wet an the wood is weak. The rod holders are not strong enough to do the job. Can someone please tell me how to repair them without separate the hull from the gunwales and deck? Can I replace the wood for something like fiberglass or any other product?
