how to replace lower bushing on 30hp

Just noticed Saturday morning while goose hunting that my lower bushing is ripped in half, was clunking while engaging reverse. Looks like the two side covers are part of the stem? Only holes are in the front where you get a deep socket to remove the two bolts for the bushing? I looked all over the interweb and YouTube but cant find a video or anything on the smaller motors, the ones i did find were for 90hp and up...... anyone have any insight on this?

here's my motor, im trying to replace the lower rubber bushing right above the cavitation plate. You can see there is no bolts on the left side and there are two bolts on the right cover...... im just guessing the bolts go through and into the other cover and it just sits there OR do i have to remove the entire shaft?

Then once I remove the bolts the covers will simply remove and reveal the bushing? And I then assume access is not a problem? Im looking for some insight here not a texting battle....

Four bolts to remove. Remove the two visible on the port side of the clamshell. Then remove the two that are recessed from the front, one in each clamshell. Then the clamshell will come off - might need some gentle tapping or prying. Then all will be revealed.

Chinewalker got it right. The ones on the side must be completely removed, the ones in front only need to be loosened two or three turns. But it won't hurt anything to take them out. You will need to partially reinsert them for easy reinstallation of the clamshells..

I have no problem with the site or responses, my issue was I had no idea the lower mount was surrounded by a "clam shell" if I knew that the first response would have been how do I remove the clam shell not "cover" around the bushing
