how to tighten down quicksilver comander 3000 controls?

My controls are loose big time, id like to tighten it down. Somehow i need to remove the thin cover with comander logos. Do i remove the center button push thingy somehow?

push the button in then put it in gear, use a small screw driver to pry the button out if it is a (90s box) hope this helps
