I bought a 99 Johnson 90 and was wondering if there is a way to check the lines to see if they have been updated. May give me a clue if the carbs have been too? Thanks.

The new rating for the line is an A-1/15 rating. The carbs on a 99 should have the viton components.

How oftern should you replace the engine fuel lines?

I bought a '95 XR6 150 with less than 300 hrs. Very well mainteain and the maintenance records do not indicate that engine internal fuel lines were ever replaced. No signs of hose debris in the fuel filter (yet), but I'm having a slight hesitation at 3/4 throtel. Still run great once you get past that slight hesitation at 4000 rpm. If you accelerate slowly, not hesitation at all.

Is there a good source for a kit?
