I am in need of a cover, and was looking at some that say custom fit, and trailerable on this site, or Overton's. Anybody have one of these? How well do they really fit. I priced some shops locally and am looking at around $800-1000 for a custom made. Also, if going custom, Do any of you pull with a 2 part cover(bow section snap on, and rear section snap on)? How well does it hold towing? Does it inflate. Planning on doing this early spring, and looking for some ideas. Thanks in advance!

Re: How well do the Overton's custum fit covers fit?

I purchased the one piece custom fit cover from Overton's this spring. I have a SEI 180. My boat originally came with the two piece snap and zip covers but since I tow a long way on my boat vacations, I bought the one piece from Overton's. I was sick of the old covers coming unsnapped and unzipped on my 600 mile round trip and always having to stop and rig ropes to hold the old covers down. Since I got the overton's CUSTOM FIT cover, no worries. It keeps the boat covered, dry and I don't have to stop and re-adjust. The custom fit, is truly that. No extra slop and I paid around $300 for it with free shipping(I talked them into that one in this crappy economy). It has straps to hold it securely on your trailer and a draw string at the back for any adjustments. I would highly recommend this product. Later

Thanks for the input. Glad to hear you like yours. What brand did you go with for yours?
