How would you repair this Engine Cover's seal?

Take a look at these photos and you'll see I need to get this seal fixed. I'm looking for your recommendations.

Little bit of sillycone would do the job very nicely....

I vote for contact cement or 3m Super Weatherstrip adhesive (contact cement)
