I hope I am in the correct forum.
I had recently discovered these forums & cannot believe they exist - I am amazed that this kind of spirit still exists.
Anyhow in Maint & repair regarding fuel effic. I was sent here I think here, to discuss my set options with regards to prop. by texas mark

http://forums.iboats.com/bbBoard.cgi?a=viewthread;fid=28;gtid=1151712
There are some pics on the above thread.

Ok here goes
The motor is an 81(thanks Em) 175hp John with a michigan 19" prop. 3 blades not sure what style is
The boat is a wellcraft 185 sport airslot with 2 inboard 60litre tanks
WOT she pushes 38mph (GPS) 2 adults 1/2 capacity fuel - lake like glass
RPM's were in the 5800 range before my cuurent issues - see thread TACHOMETER RACES HIGH

Only once 4 yrs ago have i cavitated her at the top of trim.
I do know that I have no more capability to lower engine - on last hole

We (actually You guys) found the fix for my tach & it appears to be ok now so I will be able to monitor any changes while I adjust the set up.

Tks Ex

Re: HP - SS Prop

I wonder why he sent you here instead of the Prop Forum. Do you have any idea?
