I have found an outboard I am interested in purchasing as a replacement for a 72 glastron CV-19. The s/n is 3763869P. It's a Mercury outboard. The engine cowling decal is 1150. The decals on the mid-section on one side say 150 H.P. on the other side of the mid-section is says 115 H.P. Can anybody tell me what year it is and what horsepower?

Re: HP & Year

The HP comes from differant port timing a 150 has extra finger ports and compression ratio, there is usally a name cast in the side of the engine
