SWT<br /> if all the updates are done it should be ok. however always carry 10 gallons or so with you.<br /> another tip. pay the dealershipto do the engine breakin. its very critical on that engine and in the event of an incedent the first thing yamaha wants is a computer download. it records all the information concerning max RPM and the past 13 min or so of engine history.<br /> if you decide to break it in yourself follow the procedure closely. you would not believe how many we get that show 10 hours below 1000 RPM and 1/2 hour above 5000 with 12 hours total and a melted piston. Idle hours dont count for breakin.
