Hull constructon

I have just bought a 1975 fiberform kingfisher V. The previous owner pulled carpet out which is good, I hate carpet in a boat. I found a soft spot in the floor on the left side of the console, can any tell me what the construction of the hull and floor is in this boat? I cant find much about them. I want to know the proper way to fix this floor then I plan on putting herculiner on the floor to seal and protect it.

I suspect that there may be more bad stuff below the floor that will also need fixing. Rotted stringers and such.
