I have a 356 Carver that I struck the sandy bottom of Sandusky bay, while traveling at 22 MPH. I now have cracks in the hull that go through in some places all the laminate layers. Other areas are not as bad. At what point is it not repairable?

Re: Hull Damage

I'd suggest that a marine surveyor assess the extent of the damage and determine what needs to be repaired. There could easily be extensive damage that's not readily apparent.

Assuming you have hull insurance- swallow your pride, contact your agent and let them handle it. It's their business.
