Hull Drains

Hello All,

I just picked up a 1989 waverunner, noticed there were no drain plugs for the hull. I have a 1993 waverunner and they seem to be identicle. I have been thinking of buying the fittings, drilling the holes and installing them in the same place as the 1993. They both seem like they have the same hulls, anyone do this before or have any advice?

before doing that look in the area of the pump, on the sides ,I believe there is a drain already there it is just inside of the pump area rather than on the back of the ski like the newer ones

I looked there already. My 93 XP has it there and that's a pain to get out also.

Found out from over at the guys at PPG that they do this all the time, so I am going to do both my ski's. They also say there is a newer design bildge pickup that suppose to work better also.
