hull questions

I have 1977 Cobia Sportster. It has a 120hp i/o OMC. This is my first boat. Been trying to find as much info on the hull, and what she looked like new. I have exhausted all known possibilities. Even this site does not give info. I love the amount of power it has, and the maneuverability. I recently rebuilt the stringers, bulkheads, and transom. If anyone can help with some info you help will be appreciated. I have more photos of the boat, and the build if interested.everywhere i look in 77 all i see is outboards no i/o for an 18 footer.

this is one fantastic forum.

congrats on doing your transom, stringers, deck on the boat. that is a tough job for any one that has not done it before.

as far as the info......its really tough getting any brochures of any boat that was not produced in the times of the internet. try our cobia forum. and if that fails...try frberglassics.com.
im not a big fan of sending beople to other sites....but fiberglassics has a lot of older boat info. where as this site can walk you right thru any thing you want to do to the boat including total repair of the omc motor/drive.

as far as your restoration of the boat.....im sure that someone here has done a cobia before. so try the restoration section with pictures of your boat.
as well......if you have pictures of the actual restoration project in progress....we would all love to see what you did with the boat and how......
