hull rating

my 80 vector hydrostream has a 115hp max rating on the plate but i have a 150hp on it will this cause problems and my insurance company will not insure it because of this is there a way to change it Thanks

You bet your insurance company will have a problem with this -- especially if you have an accident. Whatever you own will likely belong to someone else when all said & done. There is a reason hulls are rated for maximum HP. Your safety, the safety of those with you, and the safety of those who share the waterways.
