I have a 1977 fiberform boat and I was inspecting the hull and noticed some holes and some broken pieces on my boat. I took some pictures and would like to know what I can do to repair these. I want to get it back in the water ASAP.. Thanks

Your quickest repair on those areas would be Marine Tex provided they are the only problems. Indications like those warrant further inspection of everything.

The lack of maintance is not on my part, I just aquired the boat. The area's you are looking at are on the bottom of the boat. The first picture is the front part of the boat right on the keel.

Repairing the bad spots is easy, the problem may be that water has leaked in over a long period of time, so now you may have waterlogged foam and rotten wood. Pic 1 would be the problem if that worn area goes all the way through. I can't see much in #2 other than many layers of chipped paint. #3 is just an air bubble in the laminate from when it was made.

This Boat has been sitting in storage on a rack for about 3 years. I'm not sure what I need to be looking for or where if there is any water damage. I guess I'll just patch up the holes and take better care of her then the previous owner.
