hull repair

i have a dept finder in the bottom of the hull that leaks i no longer use it because now i have a transuem mount one. what would be the best way to repair the hole

If the hole is larger than 3/4 inch, I would find an old piece of fiberglass and use a hole saw to cut a circle about the size of the hole. I would glue it in then fiberglass a few coats of mat over the inside.
If less than 3/4, I would just use the mat inside, then fill in the hole with thickened resin--Microbaloons, Kitty Hair etc.
I'm sure others will add their own ideas. everybody has their own way that works for them.

fiberglass hull i 'll try to get a pic in a day or 2. its about a1-1/4 hole 1995 rinker
