Hey folks,
Can anyone recommend a good product to "spot" re-attach the hard plastic hull to the tubes on this boat? I had an inflatable expert look at it and was told she's too old and weary for a complete tear off and re-do. Not worth it. The problem is the tubes are still viable strong, no leaks, so I'm hesitant to just scrap the boat. We only use it for light duty to putter up the river. Any "do -it myself" suggestions would be appreciated, that is if there are any..

Thanks a lot!

If the rib fabric is PVC, will need 2 part pvc glue, solvents to clean lower tubes and hull, adecuate room temperature or sun to bond, tools to flatten out fabric & hold tubes against hull untill completely bonded, a real heavy one man job.

If not mistaken that hard bottom floor was thermo welded at the factory, so will need 2 part glue if still wanting to repair it, by the way how old is the rib, check transom plate if available.

Hey Sea Rider,

Checked the info plate and the vin # on the outer transom. There is no specific date on the info plate but there is a France manufacture # begining with 94.

The VIN # on the outer transom ends in 98 so my guess would either be 1994 or 1998. Safe to say the boat is at least 15 yrs old.

Theorically has passed it's life span, but if tubes and hard deck are still in good shape, go for a quote done at a boat repairing facility and see what's the final cost. It all depends on how much money you intend to invest on that nice rib.

Thanks again rider,
Quote came in on the upper side of $1000, so I purchased a newer used boat.
Thanks for all the good advice!!
