I have a friend who owns a 1996 19 ft. Spectrum Pro Avenger , recently developed a crack in the hull , leaking water enough to keep bilge pump running regular. My question is Does anybody know if Spectrum had a lifetime warranty on the hull of this boat ?? I thought they did. Or how to go about finding out how and who to contact ?? thanks...... Kevin.

Re: Hull warranty

Welcome to the iboats.com forum! The experts here, which I am not, can help you with any problem. The USCG-maintained database of Manufacturers Identification Codes (MIC) lists numerous companies with the name Spectrum. To determine exactly who built the boat in question AND if they are still in business, you will need the MIC to drill down deeper in the database. FYI, the MIC is the first three alpha characters in the boat's HIN which should be molded into the outside surface on the upper-right transom. HIN should be on the registration also. Get that info and use the link below to search. Good luck!

Re: Hull warranty

Spectrum was part of Tracker Marine and the warranty on certain parts was 5 years so............ do the math.....no warranty.

Is the boat insured? Check with the insurance agent.
