Darwin would have love to have him for experiment! Common sense, I guess some people don't have it, he is certainly one of them. A bomb/missile is a bomb and is dangerous, good thing it did not blow up in his boat.

They just showed the guy on the WESH news and he had that thing on his boat for ten days on ice. He must of been smoking something out there to hang with a live missile while he wrapped up his fishing trip. That is one lucky guy... since this could have had such a different outcome in rough water getting banged around.

as it turns out the missile was not an explosive type missile it was a telemetry missle with no explosive component. the military was using it to test the flight characteristics of that model of missile. but the guy pulling it in couldnt have known that heh. i prolly would cut the line or tossed it back and let it sink, marked it with gps, and then called the airforce.

...and he kept it on board for 10 days?!?

Not sure what to say about this:confused:

Maybe he was having a hard time looking up the bag limit on missiles?

The article that I read added to the story that the fisherman claimed to have caught a second missle during the same trip but that he released that one because it was still beeping. I have to say something is definitly fishy with this one.
