Seems like a lot of money just to kill a few carp.
Take it you don't watch wicked tuna much.:D
First place in a lot of the off shore tournaments are now in excess of $1M. You need big boy toys with that amount of money is one the line.

That?s the cheap part. I see another $20+K sitting in the rod holders alone.

I'll play with something like that when I " walk up there among them clouds..."

Seriously, what does it take to top that monster off? I'm guessing it has a +100 gallon tank, so maybe $4-5k per trip :/

Oops, I added a zero :) Still, $510 is redorkulous. I don't think I spend $500 in gas a year :/ Are you allowed to cry at the pump while filling, or do you have to wait until safe on the water?

How much gas does that thing burn?

If you have to ask, you can't afford one. :faint2:

It looks like a charter rig, so I'm sure he gets more than enough to pay for the gas and rods and bait.

Haha. I was just thinking, if I brought that boat home all my wife would have to say would be something like "cool, now where am I supposed to lay on it?"

On a side note, all the boats I see on Wicked Tuna seem to be single engine inboards.

I wonder which set up is more efficient, the I/O tuna boat, or this do-it-all offshore monster? It seems like this might be faster, but the Tuna boat may be a bit more efficient for longer runs and carrying a large load. I don't see a fight chair on the back for bill fish, so it looks like this has more of a deep sea/charter set up. The big marlin boats here in FL are usually covered inboard mini-yachts more like the boats in the background of the pic.
