I just installed a HB 798 in my boat. I went to the HB website and registered it. There is also an update shown for it. When I try to download it to an SD card to update the unit, I get a message on the computer saying: F:\ is not accessable. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
I know my SD reader works beacuse I just downloaded pictures to and from my computer to SD cards.
The instructions say to insert a formatted SD card. Are new SD cards not formatted? If not, how does a person format them? As you can tell I don't get along with computers very well.
I sent HB an e-mail last night to see if they have any ideas too. Still waiting for a reply. Thanks for any help.
