Humminbird FF's

I recently acquired a '99 bass boat with a 300TX on the troller and a Wide One FF at the console. Are these good units? The display is 64X128 pixels which is less than the Lowrance that was in my old boat which troubles me. Do the newer Humminbirds plug into the same mount as I have now? Should I look at a different brand? <br />My budget is $200. Which should I replace first?

We have an old HB wide one fishfinder. It's old and actually has been sold on a boat we sold a few years ago. I think you could easily find something much better within your budget. <br /><br />It worked....that's about all I can say about it.

I see what you mean! I used it fishing for the first time this weekend. Neither one was very good...marginally adequate is more like it. The single pixel floating by is really confusing.
