Anybody have any experience with this fishfinder/GPS combo. I have found it for what I think is a really good price: $150 brand new. From what I have learned on here and other places, 240 x 240 pixels is not bad resolution so I think I would be happy with it. Really looking for some details on the GPS part of the unit. I would just have to buy a antenna right? Just looking for some firsthand experiences/opinions. Thanks in advance.

No experience with this particular unit but I like my humminbird GPS combo (and humminbirds in general). That model looks pretty decent for the $.
Just realize that the GPS reciever is going to add another $100 to the bill. ( Also make sure the unit you buy has the rigth transducer.)

FWIW, you can read (positive) reviews and download the actual owners manual @ the Cabela's website.

Thanks for the heads up on the cabelas site. I know humminbird in general makes quality stuff but i was just concerned about the low price. And yeah i know the antenna will cost me an additional $100 but I figure i can save up some $$ down the road (college student) and buy the antenna and I'll still only have $250 in a fishfinder/gps unit. Not bad in my book.

Ordered the matrix 12 last night from amazon for $149 and free shipping. They said I should see it in 5-9 days. I'll try to do a little write-up once I get to use it, because I think this going to be a great little fishfinder/gps combo for the budget-minded fisherman.
