Hummingbird 300TX and Lowrance 3100 (old 80's version) Do I need both?

I'm redoing my used Four Winns 1987 Horizon 170 boat I bought a year ago and I'm not sure on some of the stuff in the boat already. I have a Hummingbird 300TX and a Lowrance 3100 (old 80's version)... I dont see any reason the keep the Lowrance 3100, the screen is pretty weathered and the Hummingbird seems to do all that the Lowrance does... do I need both?

I'm upgrading everything on the boat, gauges, etc so is there a better model I should buy and ditch both? I definitely want to get into fishing.
