hummingbird locator

Hi all, I'm in need of a new locator this spring and am thinking about purchasing the hummingbird matrix 37 unit. Any opinions on this product, good, bad, or other would be greatly appreciated...thanks

H'birds don't have the reputation that Lowrance/Eagle enjoys.

Any product made as DESIGNED today is OK. Few bad apples in any bunch.
