I am trying to decide. Are the Hustler props really as good as any other standard aluminum prop. What would some of you do? I need to change pitch on my setup and get a 13 3/4*15 prop and am trying to decide between oem aliminum and the Hustler. The Hustler I can pick up today. The OEM I would have to order.

Thanks

Re: hustler prop

I had a bad experience with Hustler props. My 1999 Mercury Classic wouldn't run above 4000 rpm because the design of the prop and hub caused increased exhaust backpressure. I’ve talked to the manufacture and they weren’t interested in taking it back.

Now I’m running a Piranha propeller and it works great.

I'm with roscoe, they work fine and are on the "highend" of aluminum props.
I've ran several, and most have out-performed OEM alum.
