Hydraulic Pump question

I have a 1968 holiday with a 140 4 cyl. My trim motor is shorted out. I think i found a new one but my question is can I replace it w/another more modern pump as long as the fittings fit? (like pic 9)

Yes you can. A pump is a pump . The fittings should be the same I believe.
