What parts of the hydraulic rams, on a volvo DP, are responsible for allowing the outdrive to fall to the drive position over the course of a few day? Also is it something that will get worse over time?

Re: hydraulic ram

If it's the rams fault, it would be the piston seal inside the ram.
Never seen one fail though. It's always the pump causing the problem.

Re: hydraulic ram

Thanks Don, always. Someplace here mentioned the rams. But, like you said, I'm betting on the pump for a couple of reasons.
