I have a 22' Aquasport Osprey with Hydraulic steering. Works great but the boat will not run straight. Even when the wheel is not moving. Can't see motor moving (slack) but boat won't run straight.

Try adjusting the zinc (finned) anode that is just over top of the prop. Spinning it to the 2 o'clock position helps to counter act some of the prop torque.

Ayuh,... If you mean at no wake speeds,...
It's totally natural...
It's called V-hull wander,...

If you have trim tabs put them down when in a no wake speed. :)

It should help you with the wandering butt syndrome. :D

Yep, I owned a 21' Bayliner Trophy hardtop 5.7 I/O that "wandered" really bad.

Whoa!! Turning the trim tab to the 2 o clock position???? In my opinion that is WAYYYY too far. Just tweaking mine slightly takes care of this problem and/or steering wheel torque (on manual cable steering). 2 o'clock is 60 degrees from straight!

Ayuh,... You're talkin' 'bout the Torque tab, aka; trim tab....

Summerfun is talkin' 'bout actual Trim Tabs, aka; hull mounted Trim Tabs...
