Full of fluid and a lot better now. Thanks for the help and advice - much appreciated.

Of note is that the motor needs to be turned all the way to port side so that the steering cylinder has the rod fully retracted in order to check the fluid level correctly.

The unit full no matter where the cylinder is, it's a push pull system. As one side looses oil the other gains it
