I just installed a hyd steering kit (it had cable steering before) on a mercury 150 optimax. When I fully tilt the motor, the steering cylinder will hit the transom. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you fix it? Do they make some kind of switch that limits how far the motor tilts up? Thanks for any replies!
