1986 OMC Cobra Stern Drive with 5.8 litre V8. Power trim hoses are all leaking and need to be replaced. When I replaced the bellows and shift cable, I was able to break loose the hoses up in the outdrive recess, but cannot for the life of me break the threads loose on the SS trim hose connectors on the outdrive itself. Anyone one know of a method the penetrate the threads and loosen the hose connectors from all the calcification and such? Thank you.

I thought about that, but the problem I worry about is if I cut it, I cannot get them removed, then I am stuck with a problem of not being able to put the new hoses on and no way to raise and lower the outdrive.
