Well, our boats getting ever so close to being finished....
the other day i finally got the steering lines all hooked up, and started bleeding the system. Since i didnt have any fancy bleeding tool, i used a funnel and kept it full of fluid as i spun the wheel, after quite awhile air bubbles stopped coming up and the fluid stopped going down. I removed the funnel, put the cap on, and spun the wheel. The ram didnt budge, and fluid shot straight up through the caps pressure release hole....
When i loosened the lines at the ram fluid pooled out, so i know the fluid is getting to the ram....The ram doesnt leak at all.
The helm station pump is a Wagoner, thats all i can make out on the label... no idea what the ram is
