hydro shift can i remove the piston inside hydro..

hydro shift 1969 johnson 85hp cant i remove the piston (the one hou push the cluch dog) inside the hydrolic pump to let my cluch dog engage in forward because the hydrolic run bad i scrap my cluch dog the small piston inside is running bad so im tinking to remove and let the gear in forward can i dommage something if i do that????

Yes, damage can happen. To people. Its very dangerous to have a motor with no neutral.

ok you right dhadley but can you help me and tell me what can i do the small piston inside the hydrolic pump dont work good and i dont know what to do my book dont ave troubleshuting for that the piston dont return when i go forward.
