Not aware of any manufacturer that has installed and 'in-tank' filter except for a little screen over the end of or inside the fuel pick-up tube.
These screens can get clogged and/or the anti-siphon valve within the fitting to the fuel line at the tank fitting, sometimes get clogged with debris that is picked up from the tank.
