hydrofoil or fins

i was looking at some videos on hydrofoils and was wandering if building a hydrofoil on the hull hould be better than getting fins for the motor...the reason i ask is i have a trihull and as you know in rough water its like driving in chicago..LOL...they say a hydrofoil will pick your boat up out of the water...will fins do the same thing or is there something else i could do to get somewat of a smoother rige:redface:

You will need a tremendous amount of power to get the boat up on hydrofoils, not to mention, that you will need a way to keep the motor from ventilating as it rises up.

I do not think there is a way to get a smoother ride, outside of boating on smooth water.

ya thats what i thought...LOL...maby ill get one of those air ride seats of of a semi..LOL that should do the trick......
